Diane Buckley, Manager
Diane, her husband, and two sons began playing pickleball in the Fall of 2022. They were immediately hooked! Diane is a long time resident of Delaware. When not playing pickleball, Diane enjoys hiking and spending time at the beach. You can find Diane and her family playing at Courtside most days, when weather permits.
Lynn Price, PPR Certified Pro
Lynn Price began playing pickleball in 2018. She became certified as a Professional Pickleball Instructor and a Youth Development Certified Instructor in 2022 through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR). Lynn was the Silver Medalist in 4.0 Mixed Doubles and the Bronze Medalist in 4.0 Women’s Doubles at the National Senior Games 2023.
Lynn was a D1 athlete at UNC. She has previous coaching experience in Youth Soccer and Field Hockey, High School Field Hockey, and High School Lacrosse.

Erik Headley, PPR Certified Pro
Erik is a certified Pickleball Coach by the Professional Pickleball Registry and is currently training to become a professional pickleball player. Despite only starting in 2021, Erik’s countless hours of video analysis and drill sessions enabled him to be among the limited 10% of coaches that earn the “Professional” coach status in 2022. As a true student of the game, he has trained with numerous 5.0 players from all over the region, leading him to find success in many 4.5+ events, including Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Erik has held multiple clinics in NJ and DE, as well as individual and group lessons.
In addition to pickleball, Erik has a background in tennis, baseball, and football.

Our Facility
Courtside Pickleball and Tennis Club is a private outdoor pickleball and tennis facility. We offer six (6) lighted tennis courts and twelve (12) combined pickleball courts. Roll away nets are provided for pickleball play. Tennis nets are up during the playing season (weather permitting). Hours of operations are Monday – Sunday 8 am – late evening. Our courts are lighted and members may play as long as they like – weather permitting.
Our memberships are very cost-effective for you and your family. Courtside is also proud to offer student discounts, as well as out-of-town rates!
Beautiful tall pine trees keep the wind at bay while providing shade during popular playtime hours. The tennis nets are brand new and follow USTA regulations. There are also eight (8) moveable, locking nets available for pickleball play.
A 10’ black chain-link fence surrounds all courts. Members may use the outdoor lights for nighttime tennis and pickleball play. Because safety is our #1 concern with our members, an AED unit is located outside next to the office’s front door.
Inside our two-story clubhouse, we offer air conditioning, filtered water, Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating.
Be on the lookout for all of our upcoming pickleball tournaments, leagues, collegiate tennis matches, and community events. Within the next year, our club will have a pro-shop, merchandise, and screened courts.
Courtside’s Guest Policy:
Courtside has an unlimited guest policy for only the primary and spouse memberships. The guest fee is $5. However, the same guest may only play a maximum of five (5) times in the calendar year. If the guest joins during the month they played, the member will not be charged the $5 fee. Members are also required to register each guest in the guest book BEFORE play. The guest must sign that they read and accept the wavier of liability each time they play. The guest book is located inside the clubhouse on the counter. If the guest joins the club within the month of registering, no guest fee will be billed to the member. The guest fee is billed to the member at the end of each month. We accept only check or credit card, no cash please.
