INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT PICKLEBALL?

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport for the second year in a row. Now it’s time for you to give it a try.

On August 17 we will be hosting an Intro to Pickleball class. The class will begin at 6:00 PM and will consist of an hour of instruction and drills and an hour of supervised play.

Is it just for Courtside members?
Nope. Everyone is invited to this class. However, non-members will need to pay a $10 fee for each participant.

What do I bring?
Wear comfy clothes and court shoes/sneakers. We do ask that you bring pickleball paddles with you if you have one. Inexpensive options are available at Wal-Mart, Target, and Dick’s and will do just fine. We also have a limited number of loaner paddles available.

Do I need tennis experience?
The great thing about pickleball is that it is for everyone. Check your self-consciousness at the gate and come have a fun time. We welcome everyone from ages 8-100.

Do I have to commit to anything afterwards?
No way! We simply want to introduce people to our facility and to the game of pickleball. We are a private club, so we would love to have new members join — but there will be no sales pitches or pressure. Just lots of dinks (a pickleball term you will learn)!

What happens if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will schedule a make-up date and you will be notified via email.

How do I sign up?

From Coach Pasha:

We always love seeing club members coming to our home matches and really appreciate all the support. Our warm up starts 1.5 hrs before the start time of each match. Matches usually last 3 – 4.5 hours, but could be shorter or longer. For safety reasons, we cannot have members hitting next to courts that are in the same block where matches are played. For example, if we have a match on court 1, members can’t hit on court 4. But they can hit on courts 5 and 6 if all the matches there are done and vice versa.

Monday, August 8th, is National Pickleball Day!

Please join us at Courtside to celebrate. The courts will be open from 4PM – 8PM and all are welcome to join. Whether you’re a member, a guest, or just someone that wants to drop by to check it out, no guest fees will apply. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.
